The brief for this project was to design two substantial new build single-family dwellings on the plot of a former single mansion house. DDWH undertook the design on behalf of a local property developer, and obtained planning consent for the development of two 6500 sq.ft. luxury residences.

The design principles adopted for this redevelopment included local architectural language sensitive to the context whilst creating unique dwellings making best use of the site. Each house is designed separately to respond to the particular site context, and integrates different elements of local architectural character, resulting in a contemporary Arts and Crafts style.

Each house incorporates a swimming pool, pool house, spa, gym, games rooms and home cinemas.

The project is currently on site, and DDWH will be overseeing the works to completion.
